7001-A Carbon Dioxide Content Tester

tester

tester

7001-A beverage carbon dioxide content tester is specially used to measure the carbon dioxide content of beer or carbonated drinks. The instrument is made of high-quality stainless steel and polymer materials, with smooth surface desig. The support adopts knurled design which ensures that the beam does not slip and can better maintain the sealing performance during the puncture sampling process. In addition, the stopper installed at the lower end of the column can effectively prevent the piercing head from injuring the operator when the piercing head falls down carelessly. This instrument is suitable for measuring various sizes of bottled and canned samples.

Φ4 Inch Bottom Base

Operation

1. Place the test sample bottle (tank) in the center of the black base of the instrument, adjust the height of the piercing head bracket (about 3 mm higher than the bottle cap, or 2 mm higher than the bottom of the can), and tighten the black screws on both sides.

2. After confirming that the sample bottle has been put in place and the height of the piercing head support has been adjusted, pull the chassis handle to raise the chassis to let the piercing head punture the cap of the tested bottle (can), and then unscrew the needle valve to deflate. Turn off the needle valve as soon as the reading of the pressure gauge is zero.

3. Pick up the instrument with both hands and shake the instrument and shake the instrument and the sample bottle (can) back and forth along its axial direction for 40 seconds. (In the process of shaking the bottle, the force should be controlled to prevent the bottle from sliding out of the base!) When the pressure reading is stable, record the megapa number (two decimal places) of the pressure gauge, and then unscrew the needle valve to deflate.

4. Open the cap of the bottle(can) and measure the temperature inside the container with a thermometer.

According to the measured pressure and temperature, check the carbon dioxide absorption coefficient table to obtain the volume multiple of carbon dioxide capacity.
